Hey Crafties!
September is almost over!! Which means, the year is almost over. I cannot believe 2022 went by just like that. And while most of the year was spent at home, there were lots of opportunities for us to catch up on things that we liked to do. Reading, organizing, crafting – learning a new skill or hobby!
For me I loved that I got to capture more memories with my kids. If there’s one thing the pandemic has taught me it’s that the time moves quicker than you want it to. And so we need to be more intentional about spending time with the people who matter.

This past weekend, we got to do just that. We got to spend time with ourselves! I know – so weird to read right? But really – WE MATTER TOO!!! I loved how about 40 of us were in a zoom meeting with Paige Taylor Evans as she taught us to make 2 scrapbook layouts.

But of course, in between the fangirling, snapping of screenshots, and just being giddy – we got to be up close and personal with Paige and ask her about her life, her techniques, what works and what doesn’t work for her. If you have seen her website www.paigetaylorevans.com you will see how as “structured” as you think her style is, it’s totally not! She likes to bring out color, let things pop and add simple elements to her pages. She’s not big on journaling, but she leaves details! We are in the works of organizing our next Paige class, so I hope you’ll be part of that.
